
NORMAN, Okla. -- With Minnesota's selection of running back Adrian Peterson in 2007, Oklahoma has supplied first-round talent for the past six consecutive drafts.
Tampa Bay picked Davin Joseph in the first round in 2006 while Jammal Brown and Mark Clayton were drafted in the first round in 2005. Tommie Harris went to Chicago in 2004, Andre Woolfolk was selected by Tennessee in 2003 and Roy Williams went to Dallas in 2002.
Peterson joined linebacker Rufus Alexander and defensive end C.J. Ah You in representing the Sooners in the 2007 Draft. At least one OU player has been selected in every draft since 1963 (45 years).

RUFUS ALEXANDER OU Release on Alexander | Minnesota Selects Alexander Linebacker Rufus Alexander was named first-team All-America by the American Football Coaches' Association at the conclusion of the 2006 season. Alexander helped Oklahoma earn its 40th conference title with a Big 12 championship and an 11-3 overall record.
The Baton Rouge, La., native led the Sooner defense in 2006 with 118 tackles (75 solo) including 12 for loss (-43 yards). Alexander was also credited with 3.5 quarterback sacks, four forced fumbles (two recoveries) and an interception. Alexander had 36 starts in his career including every game of the 2006 and 2005 seasons. He played in 39 total games for the Sooners from 2003-06 after redshirting in 2002.
The 2006 Big 12 Conference Defensive Player of the Year, Alexander became the first OU player to lead the team in tackles in back to back seasons since Rocky Calmus did so in three consecutive seasons from 1999-2001.

OU Release on Ah You | Buffalo Selects Ah YouIn 2006, Ah You was named All-Big 12 Conference first-team. He was in on 41 tackles (25 solos), four sacks and 8.5 stops behind the line of scrimmage while starting eight of 14 games. He also caused a fumble and broke up three passes.
In 26 games at Oklahoma, Ah You started 20 contests. He recorded 86 tackles (53 solos) with 10.5 sacks for minus-76 yards and 18 stops for losses of 76 yards. He caused four fumbles, recovered another and deflected five passes.
