Baseball Sets Fan Appreciation Day

NORMAN, Okla. The University of Oklahoma Athletics Department has announced that the doubleheader against Texas Arlington on Tuesday, May 1 will mark "Fan Appreciation Day" at L. Dale Mitchell Park.
First pitch between the Sooners and Mavericks is slated for 3 p.m. in Norman, with the second game set to begin at 6:30 p.m.
In commemoration of "Fan Appreciation Day," all fans will receive free admission to both games and $.50 popcorn and coke will be available while supplies last.
The games were added to the 2007 home schedule after the April 10 game at Wichita State and April 24 game at UTA were cancelled due to inclement weather.
