Boutte Bounds Big at JDM Final Day

University of Oklahoma pole vaulter repeated as an All-American Friday night at the NCAA National Indoor Track & Field Championships. Heuser placed fourth with his clearance of 17 feet, 8.75 inches (5.40 meters), earning All-America honors for the second time indoors and third overall.

The women's distance medley relay of Catherine Odell, Leslie Cole, Kristi Cook and Jessica Eldridge broke the school record en route to its sixth-place finish, an all-time best at the NCAA Championships, to earn All-America honors.

Saturday's competition is highlighted with All-American Kevin Bookout in the men's shot put.  Also competing are Shardae Boutte (men's triple jump), Toni Smith (women's triple jump) and the women's 4x400-meter relay.
