NORMAN, Okla. -- SoonerSports.com brings you weekly updates of Sooners playing in the NFL. With Minnesota's selection of running back Adrian Peterson in 2007, Oklahoma has supplied first-round talent for the past six consecutive drafts.

Adrian Peterson - Minnesota Vikings RB
Peterson may be the reason the Vikings edge their way into the playoffs this season. In his first game back after a torn knee ligament, the Rookie of the Year favorite ran for 116 yards on 15 carries Sunday. He also found the end zone twice as the Vikings beat Detroit 42-10.

Mark Clayton - Baltimore Ravens WR
Clayton did not have a catch on Monday night against the still undefeated New England Patriots until literally the last second of the game. With 0:00 on the clock in the fourth quarter, Ravens' quarterback Kyle Boller launched the ball toward the end zone for a final chance to end the Pats' perfect season. Clayton caught the ball and attempted to pitch it to a teammate but he was ruled down and the game ended. The Ravens lost to the Pats by a score of 27-24 and fell to 4-7 on the season.

Kelly Gregg - Baltimore Ravens DT
Gregg had seven tackles on Monday night against the Patriots. Gregg, along with the rest of Baltimore's defensive line, almost won the game single-handedly. The Ravens sacked Tom Brady three times and kept themselves in the game until the final minutes.

Corey Ivy - Baltimore Ravens DB
Ivy recorded three tackles on Monday against the Patriots. He also sacked Patriots' quarterback Tom Brady once on a blitz to force the Pats to punt. The Ravens defense played well enough to win but fell short, 27-24.

Roy Williams - Dallas Cowboys SS
Williams had four tackles in the Cowboys' win last Thursday against Green Bay. With the win, Dallas took sole position of first place in the NFC. They are sitting at 11-1 for the first time in franchise history.

Tommie Harris - Chicago Bears DT
Harris had just one tackle as his playing time was limited against the Giants. He did force a fumble, but the Bears still lost to New York by the score of 21-16.

Clint Ingram - Jacksonville Jaguars LB
The Jags had a chance to tie Indianapolis for first in their division but fell short, 28-25. Ingram played well, recording seven tackles, but the team will have to improve to compete in the playoffs.

Teddy Lehman - Detroit Lions LB
Lehman had a chance to slow down fellow Sooner, Adrian Peterson, on Sunday but came up short in the Lions' 42-10 loss to the Vikings. Lehman had just two tackles in the game.

Brodney Pool
- Cleveland Browns FS
Pool had four tackles in the Browns' 27-21 loss to the Cardinals on Sunday. The Browns struggles in this game, but at 7-5 they still have a good chance to make the playoffs.
