NORMAN, Okla. -- SoonerSports.com brings you weekly updates of Sooners playing in the NFL. With Minnesota's selection of running back Adrian Peterson in 2007, Oklahoma has supplied first-round talent for the past six consecutive drafts.

Adrian Peterson - Minnesota Vikings RB
Peterson rushed for an NFL-record 296 yards in Minnesota's 35-17 win over the San Diego Chargers on Sunday. He scored three touchdowns on the ground (one from 64 yards out) and caught one pass for 19 yards. This effort also pushed him over the 1,000-yard mark for the season. Peterson is having one of the best seasons rushing, not only for a rookie, but for any running back in the history of the game.

Mark Clayton - Baltimore Ravens WR
The Ravens are still not even attempting to attack through the air this season. Clayton was barely involved again this week catching only three passes for a total of 12 yards. Quarterback Steve McNair completed just 13 passes in the Ravens' 38-7 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday Night Football.

Brandon Jones - Tennessee Titans WR
In his first game back since undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his right knee on Oct. 15, Jones did not record a catch. He was, however, responsible for Tennessee's longest run play of the game. He ran for 18 yards on one carry setting up Tennessee's second touchdown of the game, putting them up 20-0 over Carolina. The Titans held on to win 20-7 on Sunday.

Kelly Gregg - Baltimore Ravens DT
Gregg is still a part of one of the best run defenses in the league. Now if they could only do something about passing. Gregg recorded four tackles against the Steelers but stopping the run wasn't the problem. The Baltimore defense allowed five touchdowns to Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers on Monday Night Football.

Corey Ivy - Baltimore Ravens DB
Ivy recorded six tackles against the Steelers on Monday Night Football this week. Yet, the Ravens got torched by Big Ben, giving up five touchdowns and forcing no interceptions in Pittsburgh Monday night.

Jimmy Wilkerson - Kansas City Chiefs DE
In a back-and-forth game against Green Bay, Wilkerson had trouble pressuring Brett Favre and the surging Packers. Wilkerson recorded only one tackle in the Chiefs' 33-22 loss to the Packers on Sunday.

Roy Williams - Dallas Cowboys SS
Roy was in vintage form on Sunday recording six tackles against Dallas' rival Philadelphia. He and the Boys' defense were able to keep Donovan McNabb in check while beating the Eagles 38-17 in Philly on Sunday.

Clint Ingram - Jacksonville Jaguars LB
The Jags were not their usual selves on defense Sunday giving up 41 points to the Saints in New Orleans. Ingram recorded three tackles in Jacksonville's 41-24 loss to New Orleans.

Brandon Moore - San Francisco LB
San Fran played too sloppy on Sunday in a game they could have won. Moore had just one tackle in the Niners' 20-16 loss to the struggling Atlanta Falcons.

Teddy Lehman - Detroit Lions LB
If Lehman and the Lions defense continues to play like this, they will be playing deep into January. The Lions showed they are for real on Sunday beating the Denver Broncos 44-7. The defense is finally good and the offense is just getting better as the season goes on. Lehman, meanwhile, played a great game recording 4 tackles and making a game-changing play. He put the pressure on Denver quarterback Jay Cutler to force an interception that Shaun Rogers returned for a touchdown.

Brodney Pool - Cleveland Browns FS
Cleveland's offense is keeping them in games and if the defense improves, the Browns could be a force to be reckoned with. Pool is still earning his spot recording five tackles and one pass deflection in the Browns' 33-30 win over the Seattle Seahawks.
