NORMAN, Okla. -- Oklahoma was ranked No. 4 in the Harris, Coaches and AP polls released Sunday. The Sooners rose to No. 5 in the latest BCS standings.

OU was the highest-ranked Big 12 team with Kansas (5) and Missouri (7) also ranked in the top 10 of all three polls and the BCS. Texas was ranked from 12th to 15th in the three polls. The Sooners own regular-season victories against Missouri and Texas.

Oklahoma plays two of its final three regular-season games in Norman. OU next hosts Baylor at Owen Field on Saturday, Nov. 10.

Sunday also marked the 350th week that Oklahoma was ranked in the top five of the AP poll. Initiated in 1936, the AP has issued 965 weekly polls to date. In more than one-third of the polls (36%), Oklahoma has been ranked in the top five. No team in college football history has been ranked more times in the AP top five than Oklahoma. OU and Notre Dame are tied for the most weeks ranked No. 1 at 95 each.
