NORMAN, Okla. -- SoonerSports.com brings you weekly updates of Sooners playing in the NFL. With Minnesota's selection of running back Adrian Peterson in 2007, Oklahoma has supplied first-round talent for the past six consecutive drafts.
Adrian Peterson - Minnesota Vikings RB
Peterson was held out of the Vikings 41-17 win over the New York Giants, but is said to have been healing quickly and is expected to split carries with Chester Taylor this week against Detroit.
Mark Clayton - Baltimore Ravens WR
Clayton caught two passes for 15 yards on Sunday as the Baltimore offense continued to struggle. The Ravens are in last place in their division and are a long shot at this point for the playoffs.
Kelly Gregg - Baltimore Ravens DT
Gregg made five tackles against the Chargers on Sunday but the Ravens' defense struggled against Philip Rivers and the high-powered San Diego offense. The once-stellar Baltimore defense allowed 332 yards in the 32-14 loss to the Chargers.
Corey Ivy - Baltimore Ravens DB
Ivy recorded five tackles in a game where the defense was on the field most of the time for the Ravens. The Baltimore defense was able to contain LaDainian Tomlinson but allowed 249 yards through the air.
Roy Williams - Dallas Cowboys SS
The Cowboys continue to look more and more dominant as the season goes on. Williams had three tackles and a pass deflection as the Boys' dominated the New York Jets by the score of 34-3 on Sunday. Dallas is preparing for one of their biggest games of the season this Thursday against the Green Bay Packers. Both teams enter the game 10-1 and atop their respective divisions. The winner will take sole possession of first place in the NFC.
Tommie Harris - Chicago Bears DT
Harris recorded two tackles in a game that may have salvaged the Bears' season. The defense struggled on both sides but Chicago came out on top, beating the Denver Broncos 37-34, and moving to 5-6 on the season.
Clint Ingram - Jacksonville Jaguars LB
Ingram had four tackles in the Jaguars' 36-14 win over the Bills. With the win, Jacksonville moves to within one game of first place Indianapolis just in time for their showdown with the Colts this Sunday. A win will put them in a tie for first place in the AFC South.
Brodney Pool - Cleveland Browns FS
Pool had one tackle in the Browns' 27-17 win over the Texans. With the defense improving like it is, the Browns could make a serious run at the first place Pittsburgh Steelers in the next couple of weeks.
