NORMAN, Okla. -- SoonerSports.com's 11th installment of the 2008 Baseball Newcomer Video Spotlights focuses on freshman catcher Neal Stewart from Deer Creek, Okla.
In preparation for the 2008 season, SoonerSports.com will feature one of the Sooners' newcomers each week throughout the rest of the year.
Each spotlight will include an updated bio, Q&A session and a series of videos including practice footage and a scouting report from OU head coach Sunny Golloway.
Stewart was named an All-Edmond player at Deer Creek High School after hitting .333 as a senior.
Stewart and the Sooners will continue the annual Red/White Series on Friday and Saturday. The White squad leads the series, 2-0, and game three is set for 1 p.m. on Friday. Saturday's game is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start. All games are free and open to the public at L. Dale Mitchell Park.
