NORMAN, Okla. - NORMAN, Okla. -- Tyler Media's KTUZ-FM "La Zeta" 106.7 and Sooner Sports Properties, the multi-media rights holder for University of Oklahoma Athletics, have announced plans to carry the Oklahoma-Oklahoma State football game from Norman on Nov. 24, 2007.

KTUZ-TV Sport Director, Rene Nava, along with James Kopleman and Gabriel Ocegueda will be announcers for the game.

This is the second Sooner game KTUZ-FM will broadcast to its Spanish speaking listeners. The first broadcast was the OU-Miami game on Sept. 8, 2007.

"This is an exciting opportunity for "La Zeta" and our listeners," said Skip Stow, KTUZ General Manager. "The feedback was so positive after the OU versus Miami game that we felt like we owed it to the Spanish-speaking community to provide this very important in-state rivalry."

OU Vice President and Director of Athletics Joe Castiglione is pleased with the outreach.

"We're delighted that Skip Stow and KTUZ have picked up a second game," he said. "Our vision in expanding our reach is to develop this relationship to its fullest potential. I am particularly grateful to our broadcast partner, Sooner Sports Properties, for helping to facilitate these broadcasts. We want our staff to take a leadership role in new initiatives and this particular effort fulfills the goal we have to share Sooner athletics with as many people as possible."

KTUZ-FM has been a staple in the Latino community for more than seven years providing vital up to date information in order to ensure Oklahoma City Latinos know what is going on in and around their community. KTUZ-FM 50,000 watt signal not only covers Oklahoma City, but surrounding areas such as Hennessy, Chickasha, McLoud, and Weatherford.

"The University of Oklahoma has been great to work with on this project and everyone in Joe Castiglione's office has provided our station and staff with the resources to make this happen," said Stow.
