Oklahoma defeated the Blazers, 24-17, in the 2006 season opener at Owen Field Saturday night.
Junior Adrian Peterson ran for 139 yards and scored twice while senior quarterback Paul Thompson threw for 224 yards and two TDs.
Junior tight end Joe Jon Finley hauled in a career-high four receptions for 90 yards including a touchdown in the first quarter.
