Tommie Harris forced a Brad Johnson fumble with 3:31 to play, and Chicago capitalized five plays later with a Rex Grossman touchdown pass to Rashied Davis that gave the Bears a come-from-behind, 19-16, victory over the Minnesota Vikings.

Harris finished the game with two tackles and a sack, but no play was bigger than the late turnover. The win kept Harris' Bears undefeated heading into a Sunday night showdown with defending NFC Champion Seattle Seahawks in Week 4.

The Baltimore Ravens survived a scare at their old stomping grounds in Cleveland, escaping with a 15-14 victory over the Browns on a Matt Stover field goal.

Steve McNair completed four straight passes on the game-winning drive, including two to Mark Clayton that set up Stover's 52-yard winner. Clayton led all Ravens with eight catches on the day, accounting for 74 yards.

Fellow ex-Sooner Kelly Gregg continued his hot streak for the Ravens with six tackles and 1.5 sacks. Corey Ivy also added one solo tackle for Baltimore. On the other sideline, Brodney Pool registered two tackles for the Browns in a losing effort.

The Denver Broncos used two big touchdown passes from Jake Plummer to Javon Walker to defeat the New England Patriots, 17-7, Sunday night.

After the Patriots scored their only touchdown of the game to cut the lead to the final deficit of 10, the Broncos responded by running a key 3:28 off the clock.

New England's drive, which started back at the Denver 14, was kick-started by a 24-yard completion from Jake Plummer to Stephen Alexander that put the Broncos back in control of field position.

Clint Ingram made his NFL debut on Sunday for the Jacksonville Jaguars, accounting for two unassisted tackles in the first game of his young rookie season.

He had been battling a calf injury all through the preseason and into the beginning of the regular season, but is now healthy and in action. His Jaguars came up short against the Indianapolis Colts, 21-14, dropping them to 2-1 on the season.

The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the San Francisco 49ers, 38-24 , moving them to 2-1 and dropping the 49ers to 1-2 on the season.

Brandon Moore recorded three tackles and a sack for the 49ers, who appear to be much improved from 2005 despite the loss. Donovan McNabb continued to be sharp for the Eagles, passing for 296 yards and two touchdowns.

The Oklahoma football team defeated the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders, 59-0, at Owen Field in Saturday college football action.

In NFL action Sunday, former Sooner Derrick Strait of the New York Jets also got the best of former Blue Raider Kelly Holcomb as his Jets defeated Holcomb's Buffalo Bills 28-20. Strait finished the game with two tackles.

Monday Night Football: Jammal Brown and the Saints turned in a dominating performance in beating the Falcons 23-3 in front of more than 70,000 at the Louisiana Superdome. It marked the first game back on their true home field since Hurricane Katrina devastated the region.

LOOKING AHEAD TO WEEK 4
Head-to-head battles between former Sooners to watch in Week 4 of NFL action include:

Roy Williams and Dallas are back in action after a bye week. The Cowboys go on the road to face Brandon Jones, Andre Woolfolk and the Tennessee Titans.

Williams left the University of Oklahoma before Titans backup quarterback Vince Young played at Texas, but he will get his first look at the former Sooner rival this Sunday.

Brandon Moore and the San Francisco 49ers head to Arrowhead Stadium to take on Jimmy Wilkerson, William Bartee and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Other key matchups involving former Sooners:

Clint Ingram and the Jacksonville Jaguars look to bounce back after their loss to Indianapolis as they go on the road to face Mark Brunell, Clinton Portis and the Washington Redskins.

The “Chicago Sooners” (Mark Bradley, J.D. Runnels, Dusty Dvoracek and Tommie Harris) will be in action as the Bears put their unbeaten 3-0 record on the line against Shaun Alexander and the 3-0 Seattle Seahawks. The game will be televised on NBC as the Week 4 Sunday night matchup.

Mark Clayton, Dan Cody, Kelly Gregg, Corey Ivy, Chris Chester and the undefeated Baltimore Ravens face the also-unbeaten San Diego Chargers, led by LaDainian Tomlinson.

It was another solid weekend for NFL Sooners in Week 3 with many game-breaking plays. More should be to come in Week 4. Stay tuned for an exciting season featuring Sooners in the pros.
