NORMAN, Okla. -- O-Zone members at SoonerSports.com get the first look at the new intro video that will play on the SoonerVision screen prior to the UAB game Saturday night.
Three versions of the 2006 intro video series will be played at the six homes games this fall.
The traditional videos welcome the Sooner football team to Owen Field. The intro videos run on the SoonerVision big screen as the team masses under the inflatable Schooner on the southeast corner of the field.
The team runs on to the field past flags representing Oklahoma's seven national championships and under the banner that reads "Play Like a Champion" as the band strikes up Boomer Sooner and 85,000 fans roar from the stands.
O-Zone members will also enjoy live video from Owen Field for one hour prior to kickoff. The game will be televised by TBS (which precludes a live O-Zone webcast of game action).
Head coach Bob Stoops' post-game press conference from the Big Red Room will be carried live on the O-Zone.
The O-Zone presents complete game highlights, archived video detailing every snap of the game and extensive audio interviews with OU coaches and student-athletes.
Launched in 2003, the O-Zone is your source for live coverage of Sooner Athletics, special video and audio features plus classic videos direct from the OU Athletics Department archives.
Monthly membership costs $9.95 with an annual pass at just $99.95. For more information and to become a member, please view the O-Zone member services page by
