No college program has had more players (17) selected in the NFL Draft over the past two years than Oklahoma.

The Sooners count 34 former players on active rosters in the NFL including six rookies drafted in April.

Despite its relative youth when compared with other coaching staffs, the Sooner staff has done remarkably well at preparing players for the next level. This group of coaches can boast more than 52 players (29 drafted) who entered the NFL since 1999.

Brodney Pool is in a tight race with Sean Jones for the Cleveland Browns' No. 1 strong safety spot and will likely see significant playing time.

J.D. Runnels has gotten increased playing time at fullback in Chicago, and is battling for the Bears' starting spot. Dusty Dvoracek is also looking for significant playing time in Chicago, but has been slowed with a minor foot injury in the past week.

Travis Wilson has been very impressive in Cleveland, turning heads with his playmaking ability. He is expected to get a serious look with the first team. Wilson has logged three catches for 47 yards in two games of preseason action.

Jimmy Wilkerson recorded three tackles and recovered a fumble for Kansas City in the Chiefs' preseason matchup with the New York Giants.

Quentin Griffin had some quality runs for the Chiefs in their preseason game against Houston, including his first touchdown of the year. Also in Kansas City, William Bartee has changed jersey numbers from 24 to 21.
