Corvallis, Ore. -- The University of Oklahoma women's gymnastics team officially arrived at Oregon State University Tuesday night after a flight from Oklahoma City to Denver, followed by a two-hour flight to Portland and a short drive to Corvallis.

The team will have an early breakfast Wednesday morning before heading to the Gill Coliseum for the first official practice. OU will share the floor with Michigan, Alabama and Utah.

After the morning training session, Oklahoma will have lunch before a team activity later in the day.

OU will begin its national title quest Thursday, April 20, at 1 p.m. in the first preliminary competition session.  The Sooners will be competing against Louisiana State, Utah, Michigan, Alabama and Nebraska.

Oklahoma is making its third consecutive trip to the NCAA National Championships and will look to make the program's first team finals.

If the Sooners finish in the top three on Thursday, they will advance to the “Super Six” on Friday. OU's best finish in the championships was ninth in 1989.
