NORMAN, Okla. After Saturday's second round of the Lady Puerto Rico Classic in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the Oklahoma women's golf team remains in 11th place with a 620 (+44).  The Sooners carded a 312 (+24) on day one and a 308 (+20) in today's second round.  They are 29 strokes behind overall leader Florida.

Sophomore Kelly Jacques continues to lead the way for OU as she improved to a tie for 24th place with a second-round 75 (+3) for a two-round score of 151 (+7).  Competing in just her second tournament of the season, Amparo Gala also shot a second-round 75 (+3), which is a season-low, and moved up from 54th place to a tie for 41st.  The lone senior holds a two-round total of 155 (+11). 

After posting two rounds of 78 (+6), sophomore Heather Wright holds a 156 (+12) score and is tied for 43rd place.  With a 158 (+14), true freshman Kendall Dye is tied for 49th place after carding an 80 (+6) in the second round.  Redshirt freshman Staci Smoot is tied for 81st with a 170 (+26) after shooting an 82 (+10).

The tournament will conclude tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. at the 6,000-yard, par-72 Cocoa Beach Golf Course.
