Baseball's Alumni Game Cancelled

NORMAN, Okla. -- Due to rain in the area, the OU baseball alumni game, slated for a 1 p.m. start on Sunday at L. Dale Mitchell Park, has been cancelled.
The alumni weekend began with the Annual Home Run Club Golf Tournament on Friday at the Winter Creek Golf Course in Blanchard, Okla. and Saturday, former Sooners enjoyed a tailgate before the OU-ISU football game.
The last time Oklahoma held an alumni game was in 2003 and no makeup date for this year's event is expected.
The 2007 Sooners will officially conclude the fall season with the Annual Red/White Scrimmage on Oct. 17-19. The three-game series will begin around 3 p.m. on Tuesday at L. Dale Mitchell Park and is free and open to the public.
