DALLAS -- Oklahoma freshman Courtney Paris won her seventh Big 12 weekly award of the season when she was named Phillips 66 Big 12 Player of the Week by the conference offices on Monday afternoon.  It is the second Player of the Week award for rookie phenom in addtion to five Phillips 66 Big 12 Rookie of the Week awards. Paris combined total of seven weekly honors is a Big 12 single season record, while her accumulation of five rookie awards has tied a conference record.

Paris' recording-setting performances last week helped Oklahoma remain undefeated in Big 12 play. In OU's two wins she averaged 25 points, 15 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and 2.5 assists. The Piedmont, Calif., native tied an OU freshman scoring record with 32 points against Texas.
