NORMAN, Okla. -- Oklahoma has set its spring practice dates for 2006. The workouts begin March 20 and will include two scrimmages and then the Red/White Spring Game on April 8.
The kickoff time for the spring game is yet to be determined.

Unless otherwise noted, Oklahoma's spring practices are open to the public. Most will be held on the practice fields immediately south of Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium and will begin around 3:30 p.m.
It should be noted that all of the times and dates are subject to change. Fans are encouraged to follow SoonerSports.com in the event that alterations are made to the schedule.
The 2006 Sooners will return 26 players with starting experience including the leading passer (Rhett Bomar), rusher (Adrian Peterson), receiver (Malcolm Kelly) and tackler (Rufus Alexander) from last season.
In 2005, OU finished with an 8-4 mark, including a 6-2 standard in Big 12 play. Oklahoma played the nation's most difficult schedule according to the NCAA and defeated No. 6-ranked Oregon, 17-14, in the Pacific Life Holiday Bowl.
