OU-Texas Student Ticket Information

NORMAN, Okla. -- OU student football tickets for the annual Red River Rivalry game against Texas will go on sale Tuesday, Sept. 13, at 7 a.m. online at SoonerSports.com. All tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability.

Only Category I students will be eligible to purchase tickets during Tuesday morning's sale. A Category I student is defined as any currently enrolled, full-time student who originally purchased season tickets during the spring sale in May.

To order online, students must re-register their online account the day of the sale beginning at 7 a.m.

If students register prior to 7 a.m. on September 13, their account will be locked and they will not be able to purchase tickets.

Walk up sales begin at 10 a.m. at the OU Athletics Ticket Office located in the South Plaza of the Asp Avenue Parking facility immediately west of Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.

Tickets could sell out quickly online. If there is a line at the box office, it is possible that tickets could sell out before any student in line has purchased a ticket. If tickets are still available, students must present a valid OU ID at the ticket office windows.

Students who wish to sit as a group at the game may turn in group seating requests to the OU Athletics Ticket Office beginning Tuesday, Sept. 13 at 10 a.m. through Thursday, Sept. 15 at 5 p.m.

If tickets remain after 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 13, the allottment will be offered to Category II students (incoming freshmen and new transfer students) on Wednesday, Sept. 14.

Purchased tickets will be available for pick up beginning Thursday, Sept. 29, through Wednesday, Oct. 5 at the OU Athletics Ticket Office from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. each day. Each student must pick up his or her own ticket.

1. Beginning at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 13, visit SoonerSports.com and click "OU Ticket Office" in the main menu.

(Remember, students who attempt to register prior to 7 a.m. on Sept. 13 will have their account locked and will be unable to purchase tickets.)

2. Click “OU Student Tickets”. Then register and purchase a student ticket. A completed purchase ends with an onscreen confirmation (please print for your records), followed by an automated order confirmation email, sent to the address specified during the registration process.
