Milberger Falls Into a Tie for 69th in Round Two

LUBBOCK, Texas Senior women's golfer Emily Milberger fell into a tie for 69th on Friday in the second round of the NCAA Central Regional in Lubbock, Texas.

Milberger opened the round with a bogey on No. 1 and recorded four more bogeys on Nos. 7, 10, 13 and 17. She birdied 6 and 11 but made double bogey on the 4th, 14th and 16th holes. Milberger finished with a 10-over 82 for a tournament total of 157.

Other individuals competing in the tournament include Iowa State's Louise Kenney, who fired a 75 Friday, and Nebraska's Merynn Ito, who carded an 82.

Three of the five Big 12 teams competing in the tournament top the leaderboards. Baylor, Texas A&M and Missouri, along with Auburn, are tied with a 603.

The tournament is being played at the 6,328-yard, par-72 Rawls Golf Course. The final round of the tournament will begin Saturday at 7:30 a.m.
