FBC Held Third Annual Sherri Coale Golf Tournament

NORMAN, Okla. -- The Fast Break Club held it's Third Annual Sherri Coale Golf Tournament Thursday, April 28th at the Jimmie Austin University of Oklahoma Golf Course. The tournament was the final event of the spring to be hosted by the FBC. Thirty teams participated in the event, which included a morning and an afternoon flight. First and second place awards were given for the total gross score as well as the total net score of the four-person teams (per flight). Winners were each given a framed picture of the women's basketball team as well as a gift certificate to the course's pro shop.
While the first and second place winners walked away with great prizes, the tournament also featured prize drawings for the rest of the field. Items such as gift certificates, planters, and tickets to an NBA exhibition game were among the prizes given away to tournament participants.
Golfers were greeted on the course by Head Coach Sherri Coale, as well as her assistant coaches and players. Proceeds from the tournament benefit the Sooner Women's Basketball program.
The Women's Basketball program and the Fast Break Club would like to thank all of those who contributed in any way to the success of this year's golf tournament!
