Softball Gets Rained Out In Second Game

NORMAN, Okla. -- Oklahoma's softball game with Oregon at the Las Vegas Classic was cancelled due to rain.  The 11th-ranked Sooners were leading the 21st-ranking Ducks 2-1 with one out in the top of the fourth inning.  The contest is cancelled with none of the stats counting.

Seniors Jessica Leslie and Heather Scaglione were responsible for OU's runs.  Scaglione drove in Kristin Vesely with a double off the center field wall, while Leslie scored Scaglione on an infield single.

The Las Vegas Classic will continue with its regular schedule on Saturday.  OU will play No. 13 Washington at 11:45 a.m. (PST) and UNLV at 4:15 p.m. (PST).
