Sooners Head to BU-Tapatio Springs Shootout

NORMAN, Okla. - The Oklahoma women's golf team will travel to Boerne, Texas, on March 24-26 for the BU-Tapatio Springs Shootout.

Competing for the Sooners will be Amparo Gala, Kelly Jacques, Emily Milberger, Jaclyn Stelzer and Heather Wright.

The 18-team field for the tournament includes Arkansas-Little Rock, Arkansas State, Baylor, Eastern Michigan, Florida International, McLennan CC, Memphis, Michigan (25), Sam Houston State, SMU (28), Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Texas Tech, Texas-Pan American, Toledo, UTEP, Wisconsin and Xavier.

“We're really excited about this tournament because it could give us good momentum going into the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic,” said head coach Carol Ludvigson. “Our players are working hard, and they're in a good mental frame of mind. We're looking for a team win and success at the individual level.”

The 54-hole tournament, hosted by Baylor University, will be played at the 6,007-yard, par-72 Tapatio Springs Golf Resort.
Tee time is set for 7:30 a.m. each day.
