NORMAN, Okla. The Oklahoma women's golf team placed 15th at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational in Austin, Texas, on Sunday with a 320 in the third round. The team shot a 973 (+109) in the tournament and finished ahead of Kansas and Texas Tech.
Duke took first place honors after firing a 300 in the third round.
Senior Emily Milberger tied for 14th, which marked her fourth top 20 finish of the season. Milberger shot a 77 in the third round and recorded a 15-over-par 231.
Freshman Kelly Jacques also fired a 77 in the third round and finished the tournament in a tie for 42nd. Carding a 90 on Sunday, fellow freshman Heather Wright finished the tournament with a 253 (+37) and tied for 82nd.
Sophomore Jaclyn Stelzer, who was competing in her first tournament of the spring season, tied for 88th with a 10-over-par 82 in the third round and a tournament total of 255. Junior Amparo Gala recorded an 84, her best round of the tournament, and tied for 96th with a 261.
Sophomore Megan Goodwin, who competed as an individual, shot three under Friday's and Saturday's mark and placed 98th with a 267 (+51).
The Sooners will head to Boerne, Texas, on March 24 to compete in the Tapatio Springs Shootout, hosted by Baylor University.
