DALLAS -- Courtney Paris (Oklahoma) was chosen Phillips 66 Big 12 Rookie of the Week and Kiera Hardy (Nebraska) was named Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Player of the Week by a media voting panel for games played from Nov. 21-27.
Paris earned her second consecutive accolade and Hardy was honored for the third time in her career. Eight Sooners have claimed 13 Big 12 Rookie of the Week awards.

Courtney Paris led Oklahoma to a perfect 2-0 record and the Odwalla Classic Championship while averaging 21 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks. The Piedmont, Calif., native was named tournament MVP after scoring 30 points against Iowa in the opening round and 12 points against San Francisco in the title game. Her 30 points and five blocks against Iowa were OU season highs. Additionally, she hit 63 percent of her shots (17-27) and 73 percent of her free throws (8-11).
Phillips 66 Big 12 Player of the Week

Kiera Hardy earned all-tournament honors at the Miami Thanksgiving Classic after scoring a tournament record 45 points in two games to help the Huskers to a 1-1 mark. NU's only loss was to No. 3 LSU. Hardy averaged 22.5 points, 3.5 assists and 3.5 steals in the tournament. Her 45-point tournament total surpassed the 43 points scored by 2005 National Player of the Year Seimone Augustus in this year's tournament. Hardy was also flawless with the ball, going without a turnover for the second time in the last three games. Hardy was 7-of-14 from the field, including 2-of-6 from three-point range. She opened the tournament with 26 points and five steals against LSU and added 19 points, five assists and two more steals against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. For the week, Hardy averaged 17.7 points, 3.7 assists and 3.3 steals to help Nebraska to a 2-1 record.
After four road games, the No. 22 Oklahoma women's basketball team returns to the Lloyd Noble Center on Wednesday night at 7. OU will face TCU in hopes of avenging an 81-65 loss in Fort Worth last season.
