NORMAN, Okla. -- Four Oklahoma players have been named to the preseason All-America team in Blue Ribbon's Football Yearbook.
Receiver Mark Clayton, offensive tackle Jammal Brown, defensive end Dan Cody and return specialist Antonio Perkins all made the list.
Clayton burst onto the scene last season when set school records with 83 receptions for 1,425 yards and 15 touchdowns. Brown, who started every game at right tackle, posted the top grade among the team's offensive linemen.
Cody led the 2003 Sooners with 10 sacks and Perkins set an NCAA record with four punt returns for touchdowns on the year.
Oklahoma's players report Aug. 8 for the 2004 season. Practices are set to begin Aug. 9.
