NORMAN, Okla. -- Jason White already has a Sports Illustrated cover to his credit.  He also has been pictured and written about in the magazine several times.  Tuesday represented a first, however, when Sports Illustrated For Kids reporter Andre Carter visited Norman to do a story on the Sooner quarterback.

Carter also conducted interviews with OU receivers Mark Clayton and Brandon Jones during his time on campus.

The story, which is slated for the August edition, reflects on White's ability to overcome injuries all the way to winning the Heisman, then takes a look ahead to the 2004 season.
