April 27, 2004 | Women's Gymnastics
The Oklahoma women's gymnastics annual banquet was held at the Petroleum Club in Oklahoma City on Sunday, April 25, concluding one of the most successful seasons in the history of Oklahoma women's gymnastics. Among all of the 2004 gymnasts and coaches were support staff, friends, families, and alumni all in attendance to celebrate the Sooner squad and officially recognize their accomplishments.
The 2004 season was one of firsts, as the Sooners earned their first Big 12 Championship and first win at a NCAA Regional. The win at the NCAA West Regional led to the program's fourth appearance at nationals where they placed 11th.
