ESPN To Feature OU Spring Practice

NORMAN, Okla. -- ESPN SportsCenter will present a five-part series profiling spring football at five of the nation's elite college football programs, including Oklahoma.   The series airs Monday, April 5 through Friday April 9. 

College GameDay's Kirk Herbstreit, will provide fans with an inside look at the teams' spring practices, and will include one-on-one interviews with the coach of each school.

Oklahoma's segment is set for Thursday, April 8.  The network is promoting the piece in this fashion, "While most fans think Oklahoma's Bob Stoops is a tough, no-nonsense head coach, his spring football practices tell a different story.  He is a competitor who demands and expects the same level of commitment from his players and coaches as he gives.  But as Herbstreit uncovers in Norman, Okla., Stoops is adept at creating a fun-loving atmosphere for his players in practice."

Other schools featured in the series include LSU, USC, Texas and Georgia.
