Sooners Finish Third At The Kent Youel Invitational

Womens Golf Tied For 12th Heading Into Final Round

The No. 13 Oklahoma women's golf team is tied for 12th after recording a second-round 325 (+45) for a two-day total of 637 (+77) at the SunTrust Lady Gator Invitational in Gainesville, Fla.  No. 1 Duke is the tournament leader with a score of 588 (+28).

The competitive field features nine teams ranked in the top-25 and includes seven of the top-10 individual golfers in the country.  The tournament is being held at the 5,773-yard, par-70 University of Florida Golf Course.

Freshman Alana Donaldson and senior Lisa Meldrum are tied for 38th with a two-round total of 158 (+18).  Meldrum   carded a second-round 82 (+12) while Donaldson recorded an 80 (+10).  Donaldson is competing as an inividual for the Sooners.  Senior Hope Edge is tied for 43rd after shooting a second-round 81 (+11) for a total of 159 (+19).  Sophomore Amparo Gala and junior Emily Milberger are tied for 53rd with a 160 (+20).  Gala carded a second-round 79 (+9) while Milberger shot an 83 (+13).  Cathryn Uselton is in 83rd place with a 174 (+34) after carding a second-round 93 (+23).

OU will conclude the tournament on Tuesday with the final 18 holes.  Fans can access live stats through www.golfstat.com.
