Oklahoma hosted NFL coaches and scouts on Wednesday for its 2004 Pro Day.
Sooner prospects including Derrick Strait, Tommie Harris, Kory Klein, Renaldo Works, Teddy Lehman, Shawn Farria and Pasha Jackson were weighed and measured for the scouts.
The players then went through numerous drills testing agility, speed, quickness, strength and ball control inside the Mosier Indoor Facility and the Everest Indoor Training Center.
Kansas City head coach Dick Vermeil, Houston head coach Dom Capers and Houston general manager Charley Casserly were among the 100 or so NFL personnel there (every team represented). The players ran indoors on FieldTurf.
The OU football program hosts NFL coaches and scouts each year on campus in Norman. The day facilitates the evaluation process for the pro staffs and provides a familiar environment for players.
The 2004 NFL Draft is slated for April 24-25 in New York City.
