NORMAN, Okla. -- Big 12 South champion Oklahoma cruised past Baylor in Waco on Saturday, 35-0, to complete its regular season without a blemish. It marked the second consecutive perfect regular season for OU and the third under head coach Bob Stoops (2004, 2003, 2000).
In the victory against Baylor, Adrian Peterson tied Wisconsin's Anthony Davis (2001) for the NCAA record for most 100-yard games by a freshman with ten. Additionally, OU's defense matched its season-best with seven sacks.
While half of the Big 12 was idle, upsets brewed in the other two conference matchups. Iowa State held on to its lead in the North division by upending favored Kansas State in Manhattan, 37-23. In Columbia, the Kansas Jayhawks rolled past hapless Missouri, 31-14.

Iowa State can clinch a berth in the Big 12 title game opposite OU with a victory over Missouri in Ames or a Colorado loss at Nebraska. The Buffaloes will represent the North Division if Iowa State loses and CU defeats the Cornhuskers.
