Big 12 Conference Weekend Wrapup

Big 12 Conference Weekend Wrapup

November 01, 2004 | Football

NORMAN, Okla. -- Baylor's 35-34 overtime victory over Texas A&M in Waco ended the Aggies' 13 game winning streak in the series and put a dent in A&M's buildup for this weekend's game with No. 2 Oklahoma.

Baylor Coach Guy Morriss rolled the dice and went for two to seal the upset. 41,283 crazed Bear fans rushed the field after the Baylor offense elected to run the same pass play to Dominique Ziegler for the conversion and the improbable win.

Texas A&M returns to College Station to nurse its bruised ego and prepare for Saturday's matchup against Oklahoma. Baylor represented A&M's first conference loss and left OU (8-0, 5-0)  as the lone Big 12 Conference team perfect overall and perfect in conference play.
