NORMAN, Okla. -- Saturday night's matchup between Texas A&M and Kansas State proved to be the weekend thriller in the Big 12 during the second week of conference play. In front of a crowd of 72,675 at Kyle Field in College Station, Texas, the Aggies defended the home turf with a 42-30 win over the Wildcats.
Unable to convert on a fourth down in their final drive, Kansas State allowed Aggie quarterback Reggie McNeal to seal the deal with a 62-yard touchdown run for the final margin.
The South Division went 2-0 in direct matchups with North teams as Oklahoma State blew by Iowa State, 36-7, and A&M turned back K-State.
