NORMAN, Okla. -- View over 140 photos from Saturday's OU-Texas game at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. Oklahoma shut out the Longhorns, 12-0, to secure its fifth consecutive win in the series.
The Sooners improved to 5-0 overall and 2-0 in the Big 12 with the win. The shutout marked the first for OU over Texas since 1972 and the first shutout suffered by the Longhorns overall since 1980.
The Sooners extended their win streak over Texas to five straight games. The streak tied OU's second longest winning streak against Texas (1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975). The longest Sooner winning streak of six games occurred from 1952-1957.

With the win, head coach Bob Stoops moved to 5-1 versus Texas and 9-2 against teams ranked in the AP Top 10. Stoops also improved to 19-4 against ranked teams.
Oklahoma next travels to Manhattan to battle Kansas State on Saturday, Oct. 16, at 11 a.m. The game will be broadcast on ABC.
