Sooners Tied For 15th At Mason Rudolph Championships

NORMAN, Okla. The University of Oklahoma women's golf team is tied for 15th place at the Mason Rudolph Championships, hosted by Vanderbilt University, in Franklin, Tenn., after shooting a 305 (+17) in one round of play. The Sooners trail first-place UCLA by 16 strokes.

The 18-field team is playing at the 6,254-yard, par 72 Ironhorse Course and is composed of nine top 25 teams.

Senior Emily Milberger is tied for 22nd after shooting a 74 (+2). Sophomore Jaclyn Stelzer is tied for 30th after carding a 75 (+3), and freshman Kelly Jacques trails Stelzer by one stroke and is tied for 42nd. After shooting a 80 (+8), junior Amparo Gala is tied for 73rd while freshman Heather Wright is tied for 82nd with a 82 (+10)

The Sooners will resume play at 7:30 a.m. Central time on Saturday, which is the second day of competition.
