Norman, Okla. - Oklahoma's football team began its final week of spring practice Monday in Norman with a two and one-half hour workout on the practice field south of Memorial Stadium.
The practice included work on two-minute situations and a light scrimmage at the end of the day.
Head coach Bob Stoops said his evaluation of Saturday's scrimmage had not changed since his comments following the workout. He continued to compliment all four of the quarterbacks vying for the starting position.
"They're all making improvement," he said. "They've each had their goods and their bads, but they're all making progress."
Stoops also noted the improvement in defensive tackle Tommie Harris, who spent last season playing through a groin injury.
"He shows up more now," Stoops said. "You can tell that he's playing stronger. He did the best with the situation he had last season and now his health has improved."
After Monday's practice, Stoops announced that RB Jerad Estus has left the team.
"He wants to be in a place where he can get on the field a little more," Stoops said. "He's a wonderful guy and we will do everything we can to get him in a position to get more snaps."
The Wichita Falls, Texas, native was listed on as a senior on the 2003 roster. Last season, he carried nine times for 51 yards and one touchdown, an 11-yard burst at Tulsa. For his career, he had 16 rushes for 102 yards.
