Norman, Okla. - Oklahoma's football team got its last major tune-up before the April 12 Red-White Spring Game with a 106-play scrimmage at Memorial Stadium, Saturday.

Quarterback Brent Rawls, running back Donta Hickson and receiver Brandon Jones highlighted the offense. Rawls completed 10-of-20 passes for 159 yards and one touchdown. Hickson carried 14 times for 182 yards and three TD, while Jones caught five passes for 114 yards and one touchdown.

"Brent has had a couple back-to-back scrimmages that were pretty good," said OU head coach Bob Stoops. "And it's pleasing to see Paul (Thompson) and Noah (Allen) make plays, too."

Thompson was 5-of-14 for 80 yards, while Allen was 5-of-15 for 57 yards with two interceptions. Jason White did not play in the scrimmage due to a sore knee.

"He said he could have gone, but we didn't want to push it," said Stoops of White's injury. "We'll possibly play him in the spring game."

Hickson broke a pair of long runs. He bolted 62 yards to the four yard-line, then scored on the next play. Later, he took a late option pitch from Allen and scampered the last 35 yards on a 75-yard touchdown play.

"We broke out an option play that Coach (Barry) Switzer would have been proud of," Stoops said.

Sophomore safety Brodney Pool was the top tackler with 10. Cornerback Mark Bradley had two interceptions and two break-ups, while defensive tackle Tommie Harris logged a pair of sacks.

"I thought the scrimmage went real well," said Stoops. "We have some guys with little experience that make mistakes, but that's the reason we scrimmage. Overall, I was real happy."

The Sooners will practice Monday, Wednesday and Thursday of this week at 3:45 p.m. Spring drills wrap up Saturday with the Red/White Spring Game at 1:30 p.m. Tickets purchased in advance are $5 for adults and $2 for grades K-12. OU students with a valid ID and anyone age five or younger will be admitted free of charge. Tickets purchased on the day of the game are $10 for adults and $5 for grades K-12.

Notes: The only injury suffered during the scrimmage was a dislocated finger to LB Wayne Chambers. LB Teddy Lehman sat out the scrimmage with a minor sprained ankle. He is expected to participate in the Monday practice.
