Sooners Resume Spring Practice Wednesday

Norman, Okla. - Oklahoma's football team returns to the spring practice field Wednesday. The team was off last week as the campus observed spring break. The Sooners will work out Wednesday, Friday and Saturday this week.

The Wednesday and Friday practices, which will take place on the practice fields south of Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, will begin at 3:45 p.m., and end at approximately 6:20 p.m. Saturday's workout, which was originally scheduled as a major scrimmage, will now more closely resemble a typical practice and will begin at 2 p.m. A short scrimmage will occur near the end of the practice.

The next major scrimmage is slated for April 5, although the time has yet to be determined.

All spring practices held on the outdoor practice fields or in the stadium are open to the public at no charge.
