Women's Golf In 11th Place At Lady Puerto Rico Classic

NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma women's golf team played 36 holes at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic in Humacao, Puerto Rico. The Sooners shot a 305 in each round for a total of 610 and are in 11th place heading into the final round. Duke is leading the field with a total score of 579.
The 15-team field is playing at the 6,000-yard, par-72 Palmas Del Mar Country Club.
Junior Hope Edge led the Sooners shooting rounds of 74 and 76 and is tied for 22nd place. Junior Lisa Meldrum recorded a combined score of 151 and is tied for 28th place. Sophomore Emily Milberger is tied for 43rd place after carding rounds of 73 and 81 while freshman Amparo Gala is tied for 50th with a two-round score of 156. Senior Allison Johnson shot an 80 in each round and is tied for 63rd place.
Oklahoma will conclude the tournament Saturday with an 8 a.m. (EST) shotgun start.
