FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Junior Leslie Dunlap posted her season best Friday afternoon at the Tyson Invitational and in the process finished third in the women's pole vault competition.
Dunlap cleared 12-8 as did four other vaulters. The number of misses determined the placing of the athletes.
Sophomore Lindsey Bourne and freshman Devon Fox cleared 12-2 to tie for seventh. Junior Mary Waytula also cleared 12-2 and finished ninth with more misses.
Redshirt freshman Jennifer Plank did not clear the opening height.
The performances by Dunlap, Fox and Waytula were all season bests and the marks by Fox and Waytula were OU career bests.
Michael Westlund finished fourth in the pole vault at the tonight with a season best of 16-4.75. Megan Crystal finished 16th in the shot put with a 42-3.25.
