Alright, ready for the questions...

Jammal, what is your favorite part of the game? If you ever had time, would you come down to Kingfisher to see all your fans?
- Jaryn from Kingfisher, Okla.

I think my favorite part of the game is winning. Not just win, but to dominate your opponent. Just to be able to go out there and let them know they don't have a chance. Just to stay on their tail the whole game -- that's my favorite part. Basically just being physical. If I ever had some time, I wouldn't mind coming down to Kingfisher. I don't really know where it's at. But it sounds like a place I could get some good hunting and fishing in. Sounds good.

Jammal, how do you feel about being selected to the 2003 AFCA All-America Team?
- Matt from Ardmore, Okla.

It's cool. It's like a personal goal -- being an All-American -- that you set. When I came to Oklahoma, I told myself that I wanted to be an All-American. Of course, then -- I was thinking as a defensive tackle. But as it turns out, it happened on the other side of the ball. The important thing is that I achieved that goal -- that was one of my dreams. It's a good deal that I was selected for that as a junior. A lot of seniors make that but being selected as a junior speaks for itself. It was an honor.

Hey Jammal, I'm a high school offensive lineman and right now, we're doing offseason drills. Was offseason hard for you in high school?
- Josh from Oklahoma City

Offseason in high school was hard -- but not as hard as college. It's very important in high school to start getting a good work ethic put together. It teaches you the things you have to do to become a good football player. What takes place in the offseason -- with your footwork, your conditioning and with your strength -- is very important. In high school, I did some stuff but physically I was already stronger and bigger than everyone else so I don't think I had to do as much as some others. I wish I would have because I would have been a better player at this point in my career.It's good that you have an offseason program. Take it serious. It will help you down the road.

Jammal, I read the recent article about offensive linemen in SI. Do you think fans realize all the mental preparation that you guys go through? Like film, meetings, opponent breakdown, etc.?
- Sarah from Salt Lake City, Utah

Sarah, that's a very good question. I don't think they really realize it. I mean, guys on my own team don't really realize it. My roommate, Brandon Jones, says that my job is so easy. But, it's tough, you know, because we're blocking athletes. The guy I usually block is a big guy -- about 260 or 270 but runs like a linebacker. So, that's a physical thing I deal with. Mentally, you have to think about all the blitzes and just all the blocking situations.

Then, we have to breakdown film on the other team. There's five of us that have to be on the same page. We have to work to think alike -- to be thinking the same thing. That's a difficult part. We watch film just about as much as we practice. We have to break down each position across the line. It's not as easy as it looks. We just don't go out there and block one guy. There's a lot of things going through our minds before the snap. There's just so much preparation you have to do to all get on the same page before a game.

Jammal, who are the offensive linemen or other players that you like in the NFL?
- Mike from Moore, Okla.

Mike, I like Kyle Turley. He's one my favorite linemen -- him and Orlando Pace. I like both of those guys. Turley plays with a real mean streak -- kind of a nasty guy. Orlando Pace is just very athletic. Those are two of my favorites. I think my all-time favorite player in the NFL is Warren Sapp. I know he plays defense but I've liked him since I was a little kid. I like his style.

Would you ever consider being an OU coach or working in some capacity for the team in the future?
- Mike from Moore, Okla.

No, I don't want to work in college ball. I'd rather coach high school ball. Maybe in Colorado or Florida. Probably in Florida. Hopefully, I could get started and build my own dynasty. Have my own high school team and just teach those guys how to be good men. I don't want to have to recruit in college -- there's just so much pressure and you don't have a lot of time for your family. I'd be content coaching high school.
