Big 12 Begins Public Ticket Sale For FB Title Game

Tickets for the 2003 Dr Pepper Big 12 Football Championship Game will go on sale Tuesday, October 7, at 10 a.m. (Central).

Fans may purchase tickets for the game several ways, including all Ticketmaster outlets, by phone at toll free (800) 676-5488 or in the Kansas City area at (816) 931-3330, via the Internet at www.ticketmaster.com or at the Arrowhead Stadium ticket office. Tickets will not be sold through the Big 12 Conference office.

As with all games of high demand, should the University of Oklahoma participate in the Big 12 Championship game, the Sooner Club Priority Point System will be used to determine allocation and assignment of the 8,200 tickets set aside for a participating school.  If ticket demand exceeds tickets available, limits will be placed on the number each account can purchase.

Championship game tickets are $75, $70, $65 and $55 each, based upon location. There is a limit of 10 tickets per order. The above prices do not include additional ticket convenience charges and handling fee charges.

The 2003 football championship game is scheduled for Saturday, December 6, at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. Kickoff for the ABC nationally televised game is set for 7 p.m. (Central). Each participating university is allotted approximately 8,200 tickets, which will become available upon qualification for the championship and distributed by the respective participants' ticket office.
