Reserve Your Spot In The Beat Texas Golf Tournament

NORMAN, Okla. - Slots are open for the "Beat Texas Golf Tournament," to be held Friday, Oct. 11 at the beautiful Stonebriar Country Club in Frisco, Texas, just north of Dallas.

The tournament will begin with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. A reception and awards ceremony will immediately follow golf.

The $160 entry fee includes greens fee, cart, box lunch, two drink tickets, snacks and the reception. A cash bar will be available at the reception.

Additionally, John Winkler Motors will sponsor a hole-in-one contest on hole No. 15, a 135-yard par 3 (no. 18 handicap). A hole-in-one will win a lucky golfer a choice between a Cadillac Escalade and Escalade EXT.

The Sooners and Longhorns will meet for the annual Red River Rivalry on Saturday, Oct. 12 inside the Cotton Bowl in Dallas.
