Distribution Finalized For OU-UTEP Pay-Per-View Telecast

Norman, Okla. - Several Oklahoma and Texas cable systems and satellite TV services will offer Saturday's (Sept. 14) Oklahoma/Texas-El Paso college football game to their customers on pay-per-view (see list below). Suggested retail price is $29.95 for the 6 p.m., kickoff from Memorial Stadium in Norman.
Big 12 Special Order Sports, Fox Sports Net's pay-per-view division, is producing and distributing the telecast to participating cable television systems in Oklahoma and Texas and nationwide to satellite TV services. The game is being televised on pay-per-view because it was not selected for over-the-air broadcast or cable television coverage. Under conference TV rules, games not picked up for regular television distribution can only be televised on pay-per-view.
Programming providers will offer the telecast to their customers on a specially designated pay-per-view channel. The telecast will not pre-empt Fox Sports Net's regularly scheduled programming.
The game will be replayed throughout Fox Sports Net's Southwest region (Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and parts of New Mexico) on Monday, Sept. 16 at 2 a.m.
The broadcasters for the game include Bill Land, Dean Blevins and Gary Reasons in the booth and Zach Klein on the sideline.
The following programming providers have agreed to offer the telecast. Digital cable subscribers and satellite customers can impulse order from their set-top boxes. Customers can also order by calling their local programming provider:
