The Oklahoma volleyball team failed to win a single set in the Loyola Marymount Invitational (Los Angeles, Calif.) after the Bradley Braves swept the Sooners 30-18, 30-27, 30-23 Saturday evening. Oklahoma falls to 0-3 on the season while Bradley improves to 1-2.

"Obviously we are disappointed because we are not playing to the level we are clearly capable of," said Head Coach Kalani Mahi. "Our biggest battle is with our own confidence wavering during the game. I am seeing good signs and flashes of excellence from the team, but we are making to many unforced errors, which directly effects our confidence."

After giving opponents Duke (71%) and Loyola Marymount (86%) over 70 percent of their points through unforced errors in the first two games of the LMU Invitational, OU improved slightly against Bradley. 51 percent of Bradley's points came from Sooner unforced errors on Saturday night.

"I do not doubt that this team has the capability to make the NCAA Tournament, but we need to work on some things and improve before we take the court Tuesday against Arkansas," said Mahi.

Sheena Werling, a redshirt freshman, led OU with nine kills. Junior Christina Barlow, came off the bench to record six kills and a .600 hitting percentage.
