Norman, Okla. - University of Oklahoma football fans still desiring tickets for games during the 2002 season will have another opportunity to make a purchase when a public sale begins Thursday, Aug. 1. A limited number of tickets for the Sooners' home games against Texas El-Paso, South Florida and Iowa State will be available.
Orders will be accepted over the phone beginning at 8 a.m., (405/325-2424, 800/456-GoOU) and through the SoonerSports.com web site. The Athletic Ticket is now located at the East Box Office of Lloyd Noble Center.
Tickets for the UTEP and USF games sell for $35 each, while the Iowa State tickets sell for $45 each. Each order will include a $10.00 processing fee. There is a limit of four tickets per purchase.
The tickets being sold became available when they were returned to OU by the visiting school.
The Sooners, ranked No. 1 in several preseason polls, begin reporting for preseason workouts this weekend.
