OU Women's Basketball Team Set to Participate in Charity Event

Norman, Okla. - Two weeks removed from it national championship title game, Oklahoma women's basketball team is already giving back to the community. Selected Sooners will take to wheelchairs as they tip it off against the OU Association for Disabled Students (OUADS) wheelchair basketball team in a charity game to benefit the J. D. McCarty Center (JDM) for children with developmental disabilities on Tuesday, April 16. Tip-time is set for 7 p.m. inside the Norman High School Gym. Admission is $4.00 for adults and $2.00 for children under 12 years old.

At the conclusion of the game the OU players will be available for a brief autograph session.

This fundraising event is sponsored by Republic Bank, Equity Realty and Service Experts.
