Norman, Okla. - Oklahoma spent Monday's two and one-half hour practice fine tuning and making corrections following Sunday's scrimmage, but Sooner head coach Bob Stoops said the learning curve is getting shorter.
"We spent today making some corrections after the scrimmage," Stoops said. "There were a lot of positives on both sides of the ball."
Tuesday's workout was heavy on agilities early as the Sooners went in shoulder pads and helmets.
Stoops continued to praise the offense, and in particular a pair of young wide receivers.
"Will Peoples and Brandon Jones have both been bright spots," Stoops said. "They both have a lot of talent and are making more plays."
Stoops, who said Chike Ozumba has elevated his play this spring at tackle, also said the improved play of the offensive line has created more calm in the passing pocket.
