  • Oklahoma won its 10th game of the season and clinched its second Big 12 South Championship with a 60-15 win over Texas Tech. This season marked the third consecutive season OU has produced double-digit wins and the 25th in the program's 107-year history (24th double-digit win season since World War II).

  • Bob Stoops improved to 13-2 against ranked teams (.867) and 41-8 overall (.837).

  • Oklahoma has now won 15 of its last 16 games against teams from the state of Texas.

  • The 60 points scored tonight by the Sooners marks the third time in the Stoops' era and the second time this season. OU scored 68 against UTEP on Sept. 14.

  • OU recorded its 24th consecutive sellout. The crowd was 75,553, the third largest crowd in the stadium's current configuration.

  • Senior RB Quentin Griffin (Humble, Texas) started the 41st game of his career. "Q" is tied with James Allen (1993-96) for most starts by a Sooner running back.

  • Redshirt freshman Chris Bush (Channelview, Texas) started the first game of his career at center in place of Vince Carter.

  • Oklahoma's touchdown on its first offensive possession of the game marked the third time this season the Sooners have marched down the field for a score to begin the game. OU also scored TDs against UTEP and Colorado to begin those contests. All three games were home wins for the Sooners.

  • Quentin Griffin's 62-yard touchdown sprint on the Sooners' second possession of the game was the longest TD run of his career. His previous long was a 53-yard scamper for a touchdown at Missouri earlier this season. Griffin's longest career run was 63 yards against Colorado on Nov. 2. It was also Griffin's fifth run over 50 yards this season.

  • Jimmy Wilkerson sacked Kliff Kingsbury in the endzone for the Sooners' first safety since the Alabama game. It was Wilkerson's fourth sack of the season and the junior's first safety.

  • Oklahoma held Texas Tech without a first down for nearly the first 16 minutes of the game. The Red Raiders finally moved the sticks at 14:10 in the second quarter. The Sooners were up by a score of 16-0.

  • With two touchdowns tonight and 13 on the season, Kejuan Jones (Jenks, Okla.) moved into a tie with Marcus Dupree (1983) and Buddy Leake (1951) for most touchdowns by a freshman in the program's history.

  • With 207 yards, Quentin Griffin recorded his seventh consecutive 100-yard rushing game (ninth of the season and 13th career). Additionally, it's the fourth 200-yard rushing game of his career, tying him with Mike Gaddis for No. 3 on the OU career list.

  • Late in the first half, sophomore punter Blake Ferguson (Broken Arrow, Okla.) pinned Tech at the four-yard line. It marked the fifth punt he's placed inside the opponent's five-yard line this season.

  • In the same series early in the third quarter, sophomore Brandon Shelby (Kansas City, Mo.) recorded his fourth sack of the season (a school record by a DB -- tied Roy Williams) and blocked a punt that was recovered for a touchdown by Will Peoples.

  • The blocked punt for a touchdown was the second by the Sooners under Bob Stoops and the 14th special teams touchdown (eighth in the last 24 games) of the Stoops era.

  • On his third touchdown of the night, Quentin Griffin moved into third on the Oklahoma career rushing touchdown list.

  • Quentin Griffin notched the 12th multi-touchdown game of his career.

  • The Oklahoma defense held Texas Tech 23.9 points below its per game average (38.9), 95.3 yards below its rushing average (107.3) and 172.3 yards below its passing average (396.3).

  • In the final home game of his career, TE Trent Smith hauled in his 13th career touchdown reception, giving him sole possession of second place on the list.
